Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada put an end to their onscreen partnership
Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad has confirmed the dissolution of her love team partnership with fellow Pinoy Big Brother alumnus KD Estrada.
The announcement was finalized on May 12, 2026, when the actress shared an official letter issued by their primary fanbase, the KDLex International Sweethearts.
Their tandem blossomed inside the reality television show Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 (Celebrity Edition). Through that, they were able to develop a close bond and shared love for music, and this initially captivated their supporters.
Together as the KDLex loveteam, Alexa and KD did several projects. They starred together in the iWantTFC miniseries Run To Me, the afternoon drama series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, and headlined PETA’s hit musical production Walang Aray.
Just recently, Alexa Ilacad shared an official statement, which was first posted on a KDLex official fanbase account, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
“I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know. I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared together,” the Kapamilya actress said.
The actress stated she remains grateful to their fanbase as she and KD embark on individual journeys.
The official statement cited “circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them” as reasons for the career split.
Fans celebrated the journey of KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad, noting their connection brought endless joy and lasting memories to avid supporters.
