The restaurant management quickly responded with an official statement, clarifying that they do not sell or offer any milk tea products, suggesting that the complaint might be misdirected. They emphasized their commitment to customer safety and cleanliness, ensuring that all food on their menu is prepared to high standards.
The establishment detailed how they addressed the issue with the help of the local government unit (LGU). They met with the complainant’s family, discussed the matter thoroughly, and reached a mutual understanding.
Both parties agreed to take down the viral posts to prevent further damage to their reputations.
The restaurant explained that the issue appeared to be isolated and that no conclusive evidence linked the rat to their establishment. They humorously noted the uncertainty around how “Jerry,” the nickname they gave the mouse, ended up in the cup.
