Here are the ratings of It’s Showtime in the past few days.
IT’S SHOWTIME – Based on the figures, the Kapamilya noontime show continues to soar after moving to GMA’s main channel.
A sensational and historical moment happened last April 6 when Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime finally aired in GMA. It was a moment to remember not just because of the big production numbers prepared by the hosts but also because of the fact that the two of the biggest rivals before in television is now partnering up to deliver entertainment to the viewers during the noontime.
Showtime in GMA marks another milestone in TV and another indication that network wars has finally ended. This is a new era of noontime on TV. This new start also marked the end of nearly three-decades-long partnership between GMA and Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE).
TAPE produced Eat Bulaga which ran for decades in GMA but due to some internal problems, this long partnership was cut. EB with the trio of TVJ as the main hosts is now airing on TV5.
During the noontime show’s debut in the Kapuso main channel, it fared well in terms of ratings. Showtime defeated Eat Bulaga in rating on April 6 after recording 9.7 percent – the combined ratings from GMA-7, GTV, A2Z, and Kapamilya Channel.
After that big and historical episode in the GMA, Showtime continued to do well and the ratings say it all.
