It’s Showtime Hosts Gush About The Historic Debut On GMA

The hosts of It’s Showtime are excited for the big event!

After the historic contract signing comes the historic airing of It’s Showtime in GMA and the Kapamilya hosts gushed about this.

Last March 20, a historical event on televisions just happened. ABS-CBN and GMA signed the contract for It’s Showtime to air in the Kapuso network. This is something unexpected and unimaginable five years ago but now, it has happened.

Showtime will be occupying the slot left by “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” when it ended. This contract signing was attended by the top executives of both companies.

Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, and Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes are from GMA.

Chairman Mark L. Lopez, President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory V. Vidanes, and Group Chief Financial Officer Rick B. Tan were the representatives of the ABS-CBN.

This April 6, it is finally happening!

In the recent episode ahead of their official airing in GMA, the hosts of Showtime led by Vice Ganda expressed their excitement.

“Eto na nakakaloka! Anong araw ngayon? Friday na ba ngayon? So kung Friday ngayon, ibig sabihin bukas na! Ramdam niyo na ba ang excitement?” Vice said teasing the madlang people and the online viewers which also sparked their excitement.

The superstar comedian further expressed in behalf of the other hosts that they are “pursigidong-pursigido” and energized enough for the big event. He even shared that the production they prepared is “Magpasikat levels” and “eksaherada”.

“Eksaherada, severe na pasorpresa ang inihanda naming lahat para sa pinakamamahal nating madlang people sa buong universe,” Vice added as he spoke about the upcoming historic, iconic and mothering.
