Davao Mayor Baste Duterte Speaks on Marcos Jr. Government
BASTE DUTERTE – The Davao City Mayor revealed why he does not want to work under the government of President Bongbong Marcos.
The wide gap between the Marcoses and the Dutertes now is not a secret to the Filipino people. The gap which started just between Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Pres. Bongbong Marcos has become a family issue for the Dutertes after former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was arrested and sent to The Hague, Netherlands.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague for more than a year now. Vice Pres. Sara Duterte previously claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos allegedly committed an impeachable offense with the arrest of former Pres. Duterte.
Following their father’s arrest, Davao Mayor Baste Duterte also stressed that his father was allegedly the one who allowed the burial of the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. in the Heroes’ Cemetery but Pres. Bongbong Marcos sent his father to The Hague.

The Duterte siblings are taking turns in visiting former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte in The Hague. Speaking before the public, Davao Mayor Baste Duterte told Pres. Bongbong Marcos that he will allegedly never be loved. According to him, they will rise and fight back.
Malacañang defended the President saying that the Marcos family has thanked Duterte and the burial of Marcos Sr. was supposedly under the law. The Palace also claimed that the government allegedly only did its job in the arrest of the former President.

Recently, Davao Mayor Baste Duterte claimed that he does not want to work under the government of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based a report, he claimed that, allegedly, nothing is happening.
“Kaya I do not want to work in government for a president na ganito. Because nothing is happening. The people are suffering more and more. And I do not want to be a part of it,” the Davao Mayor said.

Davao Mayor Baste Duterte also claimed that the critics of the Marcos Jr. government are allegedly being targeted. According to him, “it is martial law” that was not declared.
“This is silent, this is not even a silent martial law. It is martial law without declaring it formally,” the younger Duterte said.
Davao Mayor Baste Duterte also spoke in the alleged pursuit of the authorities to arrest Senator Bato dela Rosa. The ICC has also issued an arrest warrant against the Senator.
