Robin Padilla Claims ICC Issued Arrest Warrant Against Him

Robin Padilla made this claim about the ICC

Senator Robin Padilla stated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has reportedly issued an arrest warrant against him for alleged obstruction of justice, in connection with his supposed assistance in the escape of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

To recall, following the Senate shooting on May 13, 2026, which was two days after his surprise appearance to vote for Senator Alan Peter Cayetano as Senate President, Dela Rosa went into hiding again.

CCTV footage showed that Dela Rosa went out of the Senate premises through Padilla’s car. In an interview, the actor-politician was asked about Dela Rosa’s whereabouts, and his answer was “Kahit alam ko, hindi ko sasabihin.”

As a political ally, Sen. Robin Padilla continues to defend Sen. Bato dela Rosa. In a recent statement, based on the report from Abante, Padilla stated that a warrant of arrest from the ICC is about to be issued against him.

His alleged case was obstruction of justice for helping Dela Rosa. However, Padilla stressed that he has done nothing wrong with regard to this issue.

“Kasi ‘yung kaso ko obstruction of justice na ang warrant of arrest galing sa ICC eh… dayuhan. Wala naman akong obstruction of justice dito,” Padilla said.

The Senator also asked the public to support the Senate minority bloc and not let the members be jailed.

The Senator also stressed that the country can go nowhere if those who are fighting for the truth will be incarcerated.

It can be recalled that Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, who is one of Sen. Robin Padilla’s allies, is already in detention for the plunder case filed against him in connection with his alleged involvement in the anomalous flood control project in Bulacan.
