Alex Castro shared a post telling Sunshine Garcia about his plan
S*xbomb Girls member Sunshine Garcia had this reaction to the post shared by her husband, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, telling her about his plan to donate his salary to the affected sectors of the oil price hike.
As conflicts continue in the Middle East, an oil price hike happened and there were several sectors affected by this, especially drivers and operators of public utility vehicles, as well as middle-class commuters.
In line with this recent problem, VG Alex decided to do something that would alleviate the sufferings of those affected by the oil price hike.
Through his social media post on March 13, he tagged his wife and publicly informed her that he would donate his salary to the affected individuals of the oil price hike.
“Ma Sunshine Garcia, yung sweldo ko, idonate ko muna sa mga sektor na naapektuhan ng taas ng gasolina, ikaw na muna bahala sa ulam natin,” the Vice Governor said.
Sunshine reposted this on her Facebook page, and she shared her response to her husband. “Very good, papa. Yes, si Mama na muna bahala. I got you ! Dami kong booking ngayon,” the dancer-actress said.
Netizens were amused by this social media exchange between the couple. To recall, Sunshine and her group mates had their series of reunion concerts, which made their fans so happy. They rose to fame as segment dancers on the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
Many years after being inactive in their dancer era, S*xbomb Girls reunited, and their series of shows was a big hit. However, a controversy surfaced amid their celebration, as former actor Alvin Aragon, the husband of one of the girls, Izzy Trazona, started attacking the group, and even specifically mentioning Sunshine Garcia and Alex Castro.
Alvin, with his religious beliefs, criticized Alex for allowing Sunshine to dance sultry choreography and wear revealing clothes. Sunshine and Alex chose not to dwell on the negativity and just continued supporting each other.
