Sunshine Garcia talked about her husband being a fan boy
Dancer-actress Sunshine Garcia shared that her husband, actor and incumbent Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, was not a fan of their dance group, S*xbomb Girls.
Sunshine rose to fame as one of the members of the dance group that originated in the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. From being dancers, they released songs and had their own TV series, Daisyete, that aired for several years.
When the group became inactive, Sunshine was one of the members who was able to stay in showbiz. She was given opportunities in TV shows and movies.
When the S*xbomb reunion concert was announced, this brought excitement to their fans. It received overwhelming support, and several shows were added.
However, there was an issue that surfaced. It was when StarStruck alum Alvin Aragon, the husband of S*xbomb Izzy Trazona, made controversial statements. Alvin even criticized Alex Castro for allowing Sunshine Garcia to be part of the concert, wearing revealing clothes in front of many people.
Alex and Sunshine both did not retaliate to what Alvin said. However, the dancer-actress highlighted the support that she always receives from her husband, just like what she cited in a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
Alex had been showing his support for his wife, and it can be seen in his social media posts, which proved his fanboy moments. However, Sunshine shared recently that her husband was not a fan of their group before.
“Yung totoo, sabi niya, ‘Mama, kilala ko ang SexBomb. Alam ko na sikat kayo. Nag-show na nga kayo dito malapit sa amin. Pero hindi ko kayo pinapansin kasi, huwag kang mao-offend, parang normal, yung pang-masa,‘” the dancer-actress said.
However, when Alex had the chance to watch their whole performance, he became a fan. “Pero nung napanood niya, yung buo, sabi niya, ‘Hindi ko alam na ganyan pala kayo mag-show, mag-concert, mag-perform. ‘Tapos, lagi na siyang nanonood ng mga performance namin,” Sunshine Garcia shared.
