Ai-Ai Delas Alas still considers Kris Aquino as her “friendship”
Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas revealed that she reached out to Queen of all Media Kris Aquino.
Ai-Ai and Kris’s friendship went through a tough time. They have been close for many years, and their endearment for each other was “friendship.” However, an unexpected conflict happened between them.
The two female celebrities haven’t directly spoken about the reason for their falling out. However, rumor has it that it had something to do with Kris’s ex-husband, basketball player-turned-politician James Yap.
Allegedly, Kris Aquino would tell Ai-Ai Delas Alas about her marital problems. It was said that the comedienne told her friend to just return her then-husband to his family if she was no longer happy.
When Kris and James reconciled, she told her then-husband what Ai-Ai told her. This allegedly angered James, and he confronted the comedienne.
Years have passed, and Ai-Ai has moved on from that. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the comedienne shared that she reached out to Kris, especially since she has been suffering from her medical conditions for several years now.
“Si Kris ay naging part ng buhay ko. She’s my friendship. She’ll [always] be my friendship kahit anong mangyari,” Ai-Ai shared, adding that she is not minding the past; she has moved on already.
“Past na ‘yun.’ Sana okay siya,” the Comedy Concert Queen said about the Queen of all Media. Ai-Ai also shared that she reached out to Kris, but at the time of the interview, she had not received a reply.
“Actually, nag-reach out ako sa kanya. Hindi ko alam kung nagbago na siya ng phone number,” the comedienne said.
Meanwhile, aside from her past conflict with Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas has also moved on from her breakup with her estranged husband, Gerald Sibayan.
