Here’s what Gerald Anderson said about Vanie Gandler.
ABS-CBN actor Gerald Anderson clears the controversial rumors about him and professional volleyball player Vanie Gandler.
It has been since last year that actor Gerald Anderson was linked to Vanie Gandler, a Premier Volleyball League (PVL) player. This rumor has started after he watched a PVL game.
In a previous article, Gerald explained why he watched a PVL game, and according to him, “I’m just here to support both teams. Doon sila sa Third Floor (gym owned by Gerald) nagwu-workout at nakikita ko ang dedication nila ‘pag nagpa-practice sila. First PVL ko rin, kaya kakaibang experience.”
He is accordingly just an avid fan of volleyball.
The rumor persisted and recently, as the split of Julia Barretto and Gerald has been confirmed, Gandler was dragged and accused as the third party, but recently, through Ogie Diaz, the actor clarified that the athlete is not in any way involve in their split.
To recall, it was omn September 18 when their split was confirmed and it was a mutual decision that they made. He cleared Gandler’s name and revealed what really is their relationship.
“Matagal na raw itong Vanie Gandler issue pero ito’y wala raw katotohanan talaga,” Diaz said, and added, “Sinabi pa ni Gerald na iba ang dahilan, at inako rin niya na siya ang may kasalanan ng breakup nila ni Julia pero hindi na ito idinetalye pa ni Gerald.”
“Ni hindi nga niya raw ito kilala ng personal o nakakausap o nakaka-text, nakakatawagan, wala. Nanonood lamang raw siya ng laro ng volleyball, pero hindi naman para tutukang panuorin si Vanie. Ni-link lamang siya dito,” Diaz also said.
Who is Vanie Gandler?
As a volleyball player, she is a member of the Cignal HD Spikers, and among the players of Premier Volleyball League (PVL), the top-level professional women’s volleyball league in the country.
She also used to be a part of Alas Pilipinas. Apart from being an athlete, she is also a social media influencer.
