Janine Gutierrez showed support for Jericho Rosales
Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez shared her promise to her boyfriend, A-list actor Jericho Rosales amid his family issue.
Janine and Jericho’s relationship was made official in August 2024. The couple have been very supportive of each other’s careers and personal lives. Previously, Janine even shared that Jericho helped her improve her acting capabilities.
In an interview, based on the article in Bandera, Janine also expressed her all-out support for Jericho. She assured that she would remain by the actor’s side, just as he had tirelessly supported her in the past.
But before that, the actress congratulated her boyfriend after he was named Best Actor at the 9th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards (The Eddys) for his outstanding performance in the film “Quezon.”
“Congratulations! I’m so happy for him,” Janine Gutierrez said. For those who aren’t aware, Janine was out of the country on the night of the awards ceremony, so she couldn’t personally accompany Jericho.
However, it received a special mention in the actor’s acceptance speech, where he named Janine as one of his sources of strength and acknowledged her for holding his hand.
Jericho also dedicated his win to his mother, who is currently battling Alzheimer’s disease.
In her interview, Janine shared the story behind the aforementioned “holding hands” moment.
“Medyo literal ‘yung kwento na ‘yun kasi may time na nag-prosthetics siya. Binuhusan ng prosthetics ‘yung mukha niya so natatakot siya kaya literal na nakahawak ako [sa kamay niya],” she shared.
Janine is ready to stand by Jericho not only in his career achievements. She also emphasized that she would remain a steadfast partner to the actor in facing any personal challenges that might come his way.
“Kahit anong pagdaanan ng isa’t isa, one of the things na ipinagpapasalamat ko is nandyan siya palagi. So, of course, nando’n din ako para sa kanya. Walang bibitaw,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Then, she expressed that she appreciated that Jericho did not forget to thank her.
To recall, Jericho recently made headlines after the wife of his brother, Jeremiah Rosales, claimed that Jeremiah had allegedly relapsed into using illegal drugs and had gone missing.
However, Jericho immediately clarified that Jeremiah was safe and currently with their family in the province. Jeremiah’s wife also accused Jericho of blaming her for his brother’s relapse.
