Nadine Lustre talked about her experience working with Alden Richards
Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre revealed why she had an amazing experience in making her upcoming series ‘Love, Siargao,’ with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Nadine has been under the Kapamilya network from the start of her career, while Alden belongs to the Kapuso network. However, now that network rivalry has ended, it is already possible that Kapamilya and Kapuso stars collaborate in one project.
Nadine never expected to work with Alden due to the restrictive showbiz landscape a decade ago.
Back then, both actors belonged to highly exclusive, rival love teams. This rigid nature of the entertainment industry made any potential crossover between them seem completely out of reach.
“Parang at that time, mahirap to imagine yourself with another partner kasi sobrang sacred ng love teams before. Parang kapag may makaka-work kang iba, lagot yung makaka-work mo. Even in a movie, kunwari, may third party, kawawa yung third party. So, I never really imagined that eventually, in the future, this would happen,” Nadine Lustre said.
Fans were really that intense since the loveteam culture in the Philippines is really prominent. However, Nadine said that she did not think that it was impossible to happen. Now, she was able to experience this.
Nadine Lustre recently teamed up with Alden Richards for the digital drama Love, Siargao, marking their first major acting project together after years of only doing commercials. According to the actress, the experience gave them a wonderful opportunity to form a much closer bond off-camera, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
“Sobrang sarap po niya maka-work. Si Alden kasi, hindi ko siya first time makatrabaho. I guess, yung ganito katagal… before po kasi endorsement shoots lang. The very first time I worked with him, nasa Pop Girls pa ako noon, I was 16 or 17, 32 na po ako ngayon,” the actress shared.
She shared that they talked about a lot of things. Nadine added that Alden is easy to get along with. It amazed her that her leading man would talk to everyone, and he engaged with the whole team. The actress also highlighted that Alden really knows how to get along with people. He even jokes around with them.
“‘Tapos, ang light niya ka-work and very collaborative siya. Kapag may scenes kami, pinag-uusapan talaga namin, hinihimay namin ang mga eksena namin,” Nadine Lustre added.
