Cobra Dies After Being Bitten by One-Year-Old Child

One-Year-Old Child Kills Cobra After Biting It

RARE INCIDENT – A cobra reportedly dies after being bitten by a one-year-old boy from Bettiah village in Bihar, India.

A toddler from Bihar, India, managed to kill a cobra by biting it. According to reports, the toddler named Govinda was playing outside their house when the cobra approached him. It’s believed the child, who may be teething, reacted instinctively by biting the snake.

Toddlers at that age often explore the world using their mouths, especially when they feel discomfort in their gums.

The cobra reportedly died shortly after the bite. However, a few hours later, Govinda began to feel weak, prompting his family to rush him to a nearby Primary Health Centre. From there, he was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Bettiah for further treatment.

Fortunately, doctors were able to give the necessary medical care, and the child is now in stable condition.

Villagers who witnessed the incident were shocked and found it hard to believe. It’s not every day that a toddler escapes a venomous snake encounter let alone survives and kills it in such an unusual way.

Many praised the quick response of the boy’s family in seeking medical help, which played a big part in saving his life. The incident also reminds the public of the dangers of letting children play unsupervised in areas where venomous animals can be found.

Despite the incident, the little boy is recovering well and has become viral not only for his bravery, but also for the bizarre way he turned the tables on one of nature’s deadliest creatures.

The child’s condition is currently stable and treatment is being administered under the supervision of doctors. The medical team is treating the child, providing continuous medication, and he is under observation,” Dr Kumar said.
