Female Motovlogger Bursts Into Tears After Losing Her Page w/ 6.8M Followers
NORME GARCIA – A female motovlogger from Davao with 6.8 million followers on Facebook loses her page.
Recently, the popular motovlogger Norme Garcia has expressed her frustration after her Facebook page was taken down. The post quickly circulated on social media and elicited comments from the netizens.
In a video she posted, she explained that the removal came after numerous reports accusing her of violating intellectual property rights.

Norme, visibly emotional in the video, said she had been receiving copyright complaints over the past two months. She suspected that a coordinated group effort led to the takedown.
“Pinaghirapan talaga nilang gawin ‘yon para mawala ‘yung account ko,” Garcia said. According to her, this group demanded money, threatening to destroy her account if she didn’t comply, a threat that, sadly, became reality.

“Kung hindi daw kami magbabayad sa kanila ng dollars, sisirain talaga nila ‘yung account ko, so eto na talaga ‘yung nangyari ngayon na nawala ‘yung account ko,” she added.
Garcia is currently working through Meta’s appeal process in hopes of recovering her page. Unfortunately, it wasn’t just her main account that was affected. Norme mentioned that her other Facebook pages were also removed, wiping out years of content and hard-earned community engagement.
Building such a large following took a huge time and effort, she explained. Losing all of it overnight has been emotionally and professionally heartbreaking.
Other online creators have shared similar concerns. Some reported being falsely accused of impersonation or copyright violations, often by anonymous groups from outside the country.
These false claims have raised alarm within the content creation community, especially for those who rely on their pages for their livelihood.

As of this writing, Meta has not issued a statement or responded to the incident.
