Roderick Paulate is looking forward to having a project with Vice Ganda someday

Veteran comedian-actor Roderick Paulate shared that Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda has a “lucky charm” that is a big factor in his success in the entertainment industry.

Roderick was known as one of the well-known comedians during the 80s and the 90s. He started his career in showbiz as a child star. He received Best Child Actor awards for the movies Kasalanan Kaya and Anghel Na Walang Langit.

His career skyrocketed from that and he was able to do many TV shows and movies. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Roderick was asked if he is open to doing a project with Vice.

The Kapamilya comedian-host is one of the most popular personalities in the field of comedy nowadays. “Oo naman, siya na yun,” Roderick Paulate excitedly said about the possibility of sharing the same frame with Vice Ganda.

Roderick also mentioned that he commends Vice’s decision to do a serious movie, the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry And The Breadwinner Is. The veteran comedian-actor said that this was what he did during the prime of his career. He did many comedy projects and eventually, he thought that he should showcase his acting prowess by doing other genres, especially drama.

When asked what is the secret behind Vice’s success in showbiz, Roderick said that he thinks it is destiny. “I think he’s destined to be successful and you cannot argue with success, di ba?” he said.

For him, another factor in Vice’s showbiz success is his “lucky charm” and it is the love that he has for his mother.
