Kapamilya host Luis Manzano appears in ABS-CBN Christmas ID 2024 and here’s what he said about his funny part in the video.
ABS-CBN’s Christmas Station IDs have become a part of the tradition in the Philippines. The network’s songs are much anticipated every year to inspire the people in this special season and give hope for the year that is to come.
This year, ABS-CBN Christmas ID 2024 is called “Our Stories Shine This Christmas” and just like always, they did again. ABS-CBN did not fail to touch many hearts and lives through their lyrics and songs associated with some of the most inspiring and extraordinary stories of ordinary Filipinos.
Some of the brightest and most talented singers and recording artists in the OPM scene have gathered together. These artists are Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Darren Espanto, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Martin Nievera, Piolo Pascual, Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, John Arcilla, Jed Madela, Yeng Constantino, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Coco Martin, and BINI.
Big stars Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Coco Martin, Sylvia Sanchez, Arjo Atayde, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, James Reid, Iza Calzado, Ivana Alawi, Enrique Gil, Paulo Avelino, Luis Manzano and Negi, BGYO, Robi Domingo, Edward Barber, Kyle Echarri, Maymay Entrata, AC Bonifacio, Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz, Dimples Romana, Andrea Brillantes, Barbie Imperial, Jane Oineza, Harvey Bautista, Ronnie Alonte, and Bianca Gonzalez also appeared.
Amid all the touching stories featured in the video, one particular scene made people laugh and it was because of “Rainbow Rumble” host Luis Manzano. In his part, he expressed, “Mga Kapamilya, for the first time, ako ang kakanta ng Christmas ID natin”.
But before he could even sing a line, he was swallowed by a bright light and disappeared. He shared this particular clip in his social media page and wrote, “Yung akala ko papakantahin na talaga ako ng Christmas ID… pinakuha nalang ako sa liwanag.”
