One of the Filipino celebrities who have foreign blood lines is Anne Curtis. From their family, two (2) of them together with her sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, have entered the showbiz industry.
Anne Curtis’ Personal Background
Born on February 17, 1985 in Victoria, Australia, Anne Curtis’ real name as her screen name. Her parents are James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer, and Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao, Pangasinan. She is the eldest among three (3) siblings. However, her parents separated. Her sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, also entered showbiz.
The father of Anne has a new family and they have a paternal half-sibling, baby Claire. Sadly, she passed away when she was four (4) months old due to a cardiovascular disease. She used to fly to the Philippines to visit the relatives of her mother until a talent scout approached her.
Anne Curtis’ age now is 36 years old. She is married to celebrity vlogger Erwan Heussaff. They officially tied the knot in an intimate wedding in New Zealand in 2017. The celebrity couple is blessed with a baby daughter they named Dahlia.
Anne Curtis’ Showbiz Career
Anne Curtis’ age was only 12 years old when a talent scout approached her if she would join a beauty pageant. Then, her father was hesitant was it might be a some sort of scam but her mother wants her to try it. They started looking for talent agencies until she was asked if she wants to try acting. She was part of the movie Magic Kingdom wherein she played as Princess Dahlia.
Throughout her showbiz career, Anne has experienced being under different broadcasting networks. She started in GMA-7 and did projects that include the TV series Ikaw Na Sana and Anne Karenina. In 2004, she moved to ABS-CBN which is her home network now. She did the TV series Kampanerang Kuba and Maging Sino Ka Man among others.
