According to local barangay responders, they tried to control the fire using fire extinguishers, but the flames were too strong. Despite using multiple extinguishers, they were unable to put out the blaze.

Two male employees, who were also staying at the restaurant, managed to escape. One of the survivors, Franklin Laurente, shared that they were asleep on the ground floor when the fire started.

He was able to wake up his colleague, who might have also perished had he not been alerted. Unfortunately, their female co-worker, who was sleeping on the mezzanine, did not survive.

The fire started on the first floor of the restaurant, but the exact cause is still under investigation. Authorities are looking into how the fatality occurred and whether there were any other factors that contributed to the tragic outcome.

The establishment, known for serving noodles, was a residential-commercial property.

Firefighters were able to control the blaze after about 40 minutes. The estimated damage to the structure is around P100,000. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine what led to the tragic incident.
