#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions for Friday (September 6, 2024)

Class Suspensions for Friday (September 6, 2024) Due to Super Typhoon Enteng and Habagat

WALANG PASOK – Several local government units declared class suspensions in various parts of Luzon due to the effects of Super Typhoon Enteng and habagat.

On Friday (September 6, 2024), PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon (habagat) enhanced by Super Typhoon Yagi (Enteng) will still affect the country’s weather condition. Heavy rains are still ongoing in some areas due to the two weather systems.

Most of Luzon is expected to experience overcast skies with rain showers, fair weather is forecasted for the Visayas and Mindanao.

Class Suspensions

There is some slight improvement in the weather, as the southwest monsoon has weakened. However, PAGASA warns that heavy rain advisories may still be issued for areas like Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan, where the risks of flooding and landslides remain high.

However, classes in various parts of Luzon have been suspended for Friday, due to the ongoing heavy rains brought by the Enteng and enhanced southwest monsoon.
