Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza celebrated her birthday in “Eat Bulaga”, and in a video greeting, her father-in-law has this question to her.
Among the grandest weddings of 2023 was the wedding of celebrities Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza. They tied the knot in July 28, 2023, exactly one year after their engagement and exactly 10 years after Maine’s ‘Arjo cutie’ tweet.
It was held at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City and it was as intimate as it can get.
Maine and Arjo’s wedding was attended by family, friends, and other people close to their hearts. Roughly eight months after they tied the knot, Art Atayde has this question to her in a video greeting he sent her.
She celebrated her 28th birthday in Eat Bulaga. Her husband graced the program and among those who surprised her was her father-in-law Art Atayde, Arjo’s father who sent her a video greeting.
“First of all, I would like to greet my very nice, very loving, and beautiful daughter-in-law, Maine Atayde, a very, very happy birthday,” quips her father-in-law. As humorous as always with Maine, he told her, “Ayan Maine ha, pinupuri kita dahil birthday mo.”
But what surprised her was the question he teasingly asked her, “Pero, tumatanda ka na. So, where’s the baby?
He even furthered joking her about their shopping instead making a baby but kidding aside, he wished her the best and assured her that they will always be there for her.
Vic Sotto encouraged Maine to answer the baby question and she responded while laughing, “Coming soon!”
In the same event, Sylvia Sanchez also expressed a message for her. She thanked her for making Arjo, her son, happy. She can see how Arjo is happy because of how the way she loves him and takes care of him. Sanchez promised that they will always be there for her anytime she needs them. She wished for her daughter-in-law’s real happiness.
