20-Year-Old Student in Balanga, Bataan Dies After Being Involved in Bus Accident
BALANGA, BATAAN – A 20-year-old student tragically lost his life after a bus accidentally rammed the terminal.

On Monday evening (November 20, 2023), passengers waiting at a terminal in Bataan faced a tragic accident when a passenger bus plowed through the waiting area inside a mall in Barangay Ibayo, Balanga.
The incident resulted in one passenger losing their life, while another suffered injuries.
According to the initial investigation conducted by the Balanga City Police Station, the bus was parked in the terminal when the driver accidentally pressed the accelerator pedal. This caused the bus to lurch forward and collide with the wall, which ultimately fell onto the waiting passengers.
The victim was identified as Jen Orviel Titulo, a 20-year-old student, who was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Another male passenger sustained injuries to the chest, back, and neck and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The bus driver is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, physical injury, and property damage.
Authorities are in contact with the mall’s management and other relevant agencies to continue investigating the incident.
