Woman Abducted & Robbed on Her Way to Pick Up Niece
A woman who was on her way to pick up her niece from school in Pampanga gets abducted, robbed, and later abandoned in Tarlac.
Authorities found the victim with swollen facial injuries and bloodshot eyes. According to investigators, her injuries were caused by duct tape that had been tightly wrapped around her face during the incident.
According to the Angeles City Police, the woman was on her way to fetch her niece from school on the afternoon of July 14, 2026. She was inside her SUV when two men reportedly approached her and forced her to move to the back seat of the vehicle.
Police said the suspects then restrained the victim by tying her hands and covering her face with duct tape. The woman was left helpless while the suspects took control of the vehicle.
During the ordeal, the suspects allegedly stole her ATM card, which contained around P5,000, as well as three mobile phones worth approximately P100,000 in total. The valuables were taken before the victim was transported away from Pampanga.
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage and discovered that the victim’s SUV was seen leaving the school area at around 4:00 p.m. The vehicle later traveled to Paniqui, Tarlac, where the victim was eventually abandoned.
The victim managed to seek help from local police officers in Tarlac. The authorities there immediately coordinated with police units in Pampanga to begin tracking down the people involved.
A follow-up police operation led to the arrest of one of the suspects. Investigators later learned that the arrested individual was allegedly known to the victim, a detail that may help authorities understand how the crime was planned and carried out.
The investigation remains ongoing as police continue efforts to identify and locate the remaining suspect. Both the victim and the arrested suspect have declined to give public statements.
Authorities are now working to gather more evidence and determine the full circumstances behind the crime.
