Kesia recounted how she ordered a cake and was surprised when the delivery rider arrived without a delivery bag. Upon reaching her location, the rider apologized and explained that the cake may have been damaged during transport.
He admitted that it was his first time handling such a delicate item and that he didn’t have a delivery bag. However, instead of getting upset or complaining, Kesia responded with compassion and understanding.
She recalled, “Nagtaka ako nung pagdating ng rider wala siyang Lala-bag at pagdating niya sa location, [sabi niya,] ‘Maam sorry po, nasira na po yata yung cake, first time ko po kasi magdala ng ganito wala din po ako Lala-bag.’ Which I immediately uttered ‘sige po kuya okay lang’ and inabot yung payment and ‘di ko na kinuha sukli. I saw the relief in his face nung ‘di ako nagreklamo sa cake at nag-thank you siya ng sobra sakin,”
Kesia’s perspective on the situation was remarkable. She realized that the cake would eventually be consumed and would lose its pristine appearance anyway.

“Appreciate all our hardworking riders out there especially if sobrang bait nung rider. Meron din kasi mapansamantala which is kapag ganon nagp-pay lang ako ng tama and act right but not with deep kindness,” she added.
