Anne Curtis Leaves This Comment About Eat Bulaga

Amid the issues, this is what Anne Curtis said about their rival show.

ANNE CURTIS – Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis was asked about Eat Bulaga amid its issues and this is what she said about the noontime show.

The production company TAPE Incorporated has changed owners and since the change of management, issues between the company and the hosts circulated online. Until May 31 – the day they officially announced their departure followed by other hosts, production staff, and crew.

In a previous article, TAPE management expressed their sadness over these happenings but assured the public that the show will stay. The program will stay with a new set of hosts as the departure of the original host won’t stop them from achieving their goal which is to bring entertainment.

But in an interview, Tito Sotto, one of the TVJ trio, revealed that there are “pang-aapi” under the Jalosjos management. They also could not the major changes they are going to apply in the show.

Amid all these controversies, Kapamilya superstar Anne Curtis was asked and she expressed nothing but good words about the program which is actually the rival of her noontime show that is currently being aired on TV5.

She praised the longest-running show amid the mass departure that happened in TAPE Inc.

The Kapamilya star expressed that they always look up to the program, a program that has set a benchmark for noontime variety shows. She said, “We will always idolize them. They have set the benchmark for noontime variety shows.”

After TVJ announced their departure, hosts such as Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Wally Bayola, and Ryan Agoncillo all filed their resignations through a letter addressed to Romeo Jalosjos Jr. 

Curtis, meanwhile, renewed her commitments as a national ambassador for UNICEF Philippines along with “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano, who is a part of the organization for 25 years.

She is among the mainstay hosts of “It’s Showtime!”, the rival of  “Eat Bulaga!” since 2009.
