Alex Gonzaga’s husband Mikee Morada joined the ‘Tropang LOL’ farewell episode
Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada smeared icing on the face of his wife Tropang LOL host Alex Gonzaga.
It is known to many that Alex went controversial due to the icing-smearing incident. She was criticized for smearing icing on the face of the waiter who served her birthday cake. Alex apologized for that.
During the farewell episode of TV5’s noontime show in which Alex was one of the hosts, Mikee joined the gang for the Beat The Who segment, based on the article in Bandera.
During the game, Alex Gonzaga got the wrong answer to one of the questions. Because of that, as a consequence, Mikee Morada smeared the icing on her forehead. Aside from the actress-vlogger, other hosts Bayani Agbayani, Wacky Kiray, and KC Montero also experienced the icing-smearing because they got the wrong answers.
Meanwhile, Alex went viral just recently because of her statement during the show. For many netizens, it was a “patutsada” against Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime that is also being aired on TV5 after Tropang LOL.
Alex jokingly said “huwag natin silang papasukin” and that they should have overtime. Once again, her name viral on social media after that because of the negative reactions she received.
Tropang LOL, produced by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez’s Brightlight Productions, bid farewell because its time slot was taken back by the Kapatid network for the show Face 2 Face featuring Karla Estrada and Alex Calleja as new hosts. The said barangay hall on air is previously hosted by It’s Showtime host Amy Perez.
