MMFF 2022 Ranking – Deleter Tops List Based On Unofficial Gross

Here’s an unofficial MMFF 2022 ranking and Nadine Lustre’s “Deleter” topped the list.

MMFF 2022 RANKING – ‘Deleter,’ ‘Family Matters,’ ‘Labyu with an Accent,’ and ‘Partners in Crime’ are the top earners of MMFF 2022.

The 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) announced on January 9 that this year’s film festival has reached its Php 500 million target gross sales. Amid the recovery phase from the impacts of the pandemic, being able to reach their aim is a delight for them. This year’s MMFF is considered a success.

MMDA chief and MMFF overall chairman Romando Artes expressed MMFF is a certified box-office hit.

The film festival ran from December 25 to January 7 and the film “Deleter” dominated the list of Gabi Ng Parangal winners.

  • Labyu With an Accent — Php 19M
    starring Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, ABS-CBN Film Productions
  • My Teacher — Php 12M
    starring Toni Gonzaga and Joey De Leon, TEN17P
  • Nanahimik ang Gabi — Php 7M
    starring Ian Veneracion and Heaven Peralejo, Rein Entertainment Productions
  • Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told — Php 5M
    starring Edu Manzano, Aljur Abrenica and JC De Vera, Borracho Film Production
  • My Father, Myself — Php 1.5M
    starring Jake Cuenca and Dimples Romana, 3:16 Media Network

Meanwhile, based on a previous article, the postponed summer MMFF will finally be pushed through this year 2023. It will accordingly run from April 8 (Black Saturday) until April 18 and the deadline for submission will be on February 17, 2023.
