ROBI DOMINGO – Kapamilya host Robi Domingo revealed the reason that inspired her to finally as his girlfriend’s hand for marriage.
In a previous article, famous Kapamilya host Robi Domingo and his fellow Atenista and non-showbiz girlfriend Maiqui Pineda got engaged. The proposal happened in the middle of the busy streets of Shibuya in Japan.
He and Maiqui were on a vacation during Halloween in Japan and among those who witnessed the proposal are celebrities Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Joshua Garcia, Ria Atayde, and Zanjoe Marudo.
Maiqui and Robi have been together as a couple for roughly four years now. They are private about their relationship but the male host have always been vocal about marrying her in the near future. He was just waiting for the right time and that was the right time he was talking about.
What could have probably pushed and inspired him to finally do it?
In a report from ABS-CBN, what accordingly paved way for him to realize that they are really for each other was the 2022 elections. This event made him see that they have the same ideals, goals, and ideologies.
There is something in her that gave him so much purpose. And one of the things he loves about their relationship is the way he can comfortably open up any ideas to her and talk about them to her.
Actually, he initially planned to propose to her after his “Pinoy Big Brother” hosting gig but “Idol Philippines” happened, and decided to calm down for a while.
“I was more afraid of what’s gonna happen next kaya sobrang kabado ako and internally that was just my prayer it’s not just for me asking God na please make Mikes the best woman for me but it’s more of please make me the best man for Mikes, sana hindi ako ‘yung mali sa kanya,” he also opened up.
In the same interview, he shared that his best friend and Pineda’s family were actually also there when he proposed.
