Meet Precious Paula Nicole, the first winner of Drag Race PH.
PRECIOUS PAULA NICOLE – “Drag Race Philippines” hailed Precious Paula Nicole as the first winner of the competition.
Drag Race Philippines concluded on Wednesday. And for the first-ever installment of the famous competition in the country, Precious Paula Nicole was hailed as the first winner. She bested 11 other drag queens after going through the 10 episodes.
She overcame various challenges and clinched one win in the “Rusical” challenge.
Paula Nicole was one of the two last queens standing with Marina Summers. They performed “Sirena” by Gloc 9 and Ebe Dancel in lip sync and their performance determined the winner.
Her first words as the first Drag winner in the country are: “Life is precious and so are we. Let’s continue to inspire and let’s continue to love. I am Precious Paula Nicole, your Drag Race Superstar.”
In the competition, she topped in several challenges like the Sagalamazon ball, pageant improv, makeover, and music video.
She won P1,000,000 pesos and will receive a one-year supply of ONE/SIZE beauty cosmetics by Patrick Starr.
Paula Nicole has been in the drag scene for more than 11 years. Professionally, she is a dancer and is also known for her comedy shticks. She is known for impersonating divas such as Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez.
Meanwhile, fan-favorite Lady Morgana was hailed as the first Miss Congeniality. The other drag queens who participated in the first season included Eve Le Queen, Xilhouette, Marina Summers, Prince, Corazon, Gigi Era, Turing, Lady Morgana, Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, and Minty Fresh.
The competition’s finale was held at the Okada Manila on Wednesday.
