Rabiya Mateo talked about Jeric Gonzales
Beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo revealed the current relationship status that she has with actor Jeric Gonzales.
Rabiya and Jeric’s relationship is quite controversial. Rumors surfaced that they had frequent fights and this allegedly led to a drastic breakup, especially when the actor’s controversial photos circulated online.
Just recently, rumors surfaced that Rabiya and Jeric got back together. In an interview, the Start-Up PH actor was asked about this. He said that there was no rekindling of the relationship that happen but they have remained friends.
The actor also said that they wanted to make this aspect of their relationship private. To recall, netizens just noticed that they unfollowed each other on Instagram and they deleted their photos together which led to a conclusion that they already called it quits.
Rabiya Mateo was also asked about this during a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera. She said that she and Jeric Gonzales had a good breakup, unlike the rumors that have been circulating.
“Minsan, kami nga ni Jeric, nagugulat na, ‘O, ito ‘yung mga sinasabi nila na may ganito tayo, may ganyan,'” she shared. Despite the negative writeups about them, Rabiya stressed that she and Jeric are good friends and they have known each other more now.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 shared that when they met in Ticktoclock studio, there was no awkwardness between them. “Magkaibigan kami, at hindi naman masama ‘yung nangyari sa amin kumbaga. So, we just had fun, and nakita ng audience ‘yon,” Rabiya stressed.
Meanwhile, the beauty queen-turned-actress is happy to share her life story through the Kapuso drama anthology Magpakailanman. Rabiya Mateo said that she wanted to give inspiration to other people through sharing the obstacles she was able to surpass
