CASH AID FOR TYPHOON KARDING VICTIMS – President Bongbong Marcos spoke on the assistance to be extended by the government to typhoon victims.
A lot of families were greatly affected by the wrath of super typhoon Karding in several regions. Many Filipinos now are staying in evacuation centers. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Pres. Bongbong Marcos assured that the government is ready to provide assistance for the typhoon victims. According to him, in the mean time, the immediate needs of the victims will be provided as cash may not be very useful to them now. Meanwhile, he assured that the AICS (Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation) will be provided when they can already use it.

PAGASA Releases Latest Update on Typhoon Karding
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Typhoon Karding will continue to bring an inclement weather condition over some parts of the country.
On Monday (September 26, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Karding will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Typhoon Karding has been last spotted at 190 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. It has maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 170 kph.
Karding has strong to typhoon-force winds extending outwards up to 270 kph. It is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday evening. It may slightly weaken as it moves away from the landmass of Luzon.
The typhoon will bring moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Zambales, Bataan, and Lubang Islands. Occasional to monsoon rains are expected over the western sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas,
PAGASA also raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals over some parts of the country. here is the list of typhoon-affected areas.
