VP Sara Duterte Assures She Won’t Grab President Bongbong Marcos’ Power

VP Sara Duterte rejects this accusation.

VP Sara Duterte firmly dismissed the accusations against her about having interest in replacing President Bongbong Marcos.

It is publicly known that once allies for unity, President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte, have a fallout. As their misunderstanding continues, the vice president recently made a clarification about the accusations made against her by her critics.

Reportedly, she is interested in replacing the President and grab his power as the country’s top chief executive. However, in an interview, Duterte vehemently denied this and dismissed the accusation against her.

She has firmly rejected allegations that she is seeking to take over the presidency from President Marcos Jr. should political developments create an opportunity for her to assume the country’s highest office.

Gusto ko makita ng taong bayan hanggang sa dulo kung gaano ka walang hiya si BBM,” she said as speculation continues to swirl around the increasingly strained relationship between the Marcos and Duterte camps.

She also took a swipe at the president, accusing him of being involved in the stealing public funds.

The VP’s focus these days remains on fulfilling her duties as Vice President. She underscored that leadership transitions should happen through constitutional and democratic processes rather than through political maneuvering or efforts to remove a sitting president.
