Cristy Fermin thinks that Herlene Budol has the tendency to be boastful
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin said that she can see that comedienne-turned-beauty queen Herlene Budol can be devoured by the attention that she gets right now.
Cristy has been in showbiz for many years now. She has seen celebrities who come and go. With his years in the industry, she has also heard a lot of stories and seen scenarios that happened to different personalities.
In her recent Showbiz Now Na show on YouTube with Morly Alinio and Romel Chika, the veteran writer said that Herlene has the tendency to be “mayabang.” Her statement came from what they learned about the negotiation that the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up had with veteran host Willie Revillame.
Herlene was discovered through Kuya Wil’s program Wowowin. Apparently, the veteran host wanted Herlene to join them on ALLTV. However, she signed a contract with GMA. According to Cristy Fermin, who is close to Willie, the host was surprised that Herlene did not tell him about her decision to sign with the Kapuso network.
As Cristy and her co-host talked about the “ungratefulness” that Herlene Budol exhibited toward Kuya Wil, the veteran writer said, “madaling lumaki ang ulo ng batang ito.”
Cristy said that it is obvious in the way how Herlene would speak that made her think that there is a possibility that talent manager Wilbert Tolentino will have a problem in the future because of his “alaga.”
“May kakaiba, meron making tulis na nakikita sa kaniyang pagsasalita,” the veteran writer added. She also said that comedians are not always funny. Sometimes, Cristy said, reading between the lines, it can be determined what kind of person one can be.
Morly added that back then, it was Willie who paid attention to Herlene when she was not that popular yet.
