Is Herlene Budol the subject of this blind item?
Talent manager Wilbert Tolentino, the one handling the career of Herlene Budol, addressed this blind item.
Wilbert has been very supportive of Herlene. He is also known for his generosity. After joining the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant, the former Wowowin host received house and lot from her manager.
He is also protective of his “alaga.” Based on the article in Balita, Wilbert answered a blind item that he believed was about Herlene. The said blind item was posted on PEP’s website and it was talking about a celebrity who is now “bibidahin” and “uma-attitude”.
It was also stated that the celebrity can no longer be invited easily to events because of her new image. Before joining the pageant and becoming a beauty queen, Herlene Budol was known as a comedienne. She proved that there is more to her comic personality as she was able to do well in the pageant.
The blind item also stated that the celebrity cannot be featured in projects with SPG classification. Through his Facebook Page, Wilbert Tolentino addressed the blind item.
“Sure ako si Herlene Hipon Budol ang tinutukoy. hindi naman po sa tumanggi po ako pero dahil during nag iinquire po sila indi pa naka pag sign ng contract sa Binibining Pilipinas ang artist,” the talent manager explained.
Wilbert added that as a manager, it is his duty to protect his talent. He stressed that there is a right process for this and this has to go through BBP also. It appeared that he is also dismayed that this became a writeup when he just said that he will ask permission first. Wilbert apparently expected that he has a good relation with PEP.
“Kapag sinabi ipag paalam kailangan pala e write up na? di ba in good relation naman ako sa lahat including pep.ph…Happy???” the talent manager of Herlene Budol wrote.
