Weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that the LPA is expected to develop into a storm within the next 24 hours. However, it has a slim chance to turning into a typhoon but will be the dominant weather system in the country.

The Southwest Monsoon/Monsoon Trough will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Western Visayas and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
