Security Guard Suffers Injuries & Recuperates at Hospital After Rammed by SUV Driver
The security guard is currently recuperating at the hospital after suffering injuries due to a hit-and-run incident.
Previously, the video footage of a heartless SUV driver who rammed a poor security guard while mandating the traffic. The incident happened last Sunday (June 5, 2022) at Megamall between Julio Vargas Avenue and St. Francis Street in Mandaluyong City.
The video footage garnered various reactions from social media users.
The mall security guard identified as Christian Joseph Floralde apprehended a white SUV but the driver rammed him for an unknown reason. The incident sent the guard pummeling on the ground but the suspect run over the victim.
A citizen named Ralph Centeno witnessed the incident. “Pinatigil kami pareho para dumaan yung pasalubong (na sasakyan). For some reason, yung RAV 4 ayaw niya tumigil. Binundol niya, tapos nung bumagsak, sinagasaan pa. Kitang kita ko dumaan ang gulong sa torso ng mama,” Centeno said.
The victim has been rushed to the hospital after the incident. The victim suffered a fracture in his ribs and experiencing breathing difficulty, according to his live-in partner named Arceli Flores.
Mandaluyong Police is already trying to locate the vehicle and identify the suspect after learning its plate number,
“The Guard was hit by a White Toyota RAV 4 with plate number NCO 3781, which is now under verification to LTO (Land Transportation Office) in order to identify the owner and driver during the incident,” Mandaluyong Police said.
