Video of Modern Jeepney Driver Who Rams Traffic Enforcer in Mandaue City Earns Reactions Online
The video footage of a modern jeepney that rammed a traffic enforcer in Mandaue City goes viral and earns reactions online.
Traffic enforcers are public servants hired by the government to implement the traffic rules and regulations. They were also tasked to control and manage the flow of traffic along the road to prevent accidents.
The Facebook page “CDN Digital” has shared the video footage of a modern jeepney that rammed a traffic enforcer in Mandaue City. The video garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that a traffic enforcer is mandating and controlling the flow of traffic underneath Maguikay flyover in Mandaue City, Cebu. The traffic personnel peacefully control the flow of traffic until something unexpected happened.
A modern jeepney suddenly rammed the road officer for an unknown reason. The incident sent the enforcer identified as Wolfram Jumanguin pummeling on the ground with several wounds and injuries.
Jumanguin suffered a wound on his right arm, head bumps, and foot injury. He was brought to the hospital for immediate treatment and medication.
The jeep company will shoulder the hospital expenses and medicines of the enforcer. The firm will also pay the days the enforcer was not able to report to work after he was advised to rest for a week, according to the traffic division of the Mandaue City Police Office.
The incident happened last Tuesday afternoon (April 5. 2022).
