PAGASA Says LPA to Prevail Over Palawan, Rest of PH Expects Fair Weather

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (March 29)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area will prevail over Palawan while the rest of the country will have a fair weather condition.

On Tuesday (March 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area will affect some parts of the country.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted 390 kilometers northwest of Zamboanga City or 95 kilometers southeast of Puerto Princesa City. The Easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country.

“Sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon ay magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon, maliban sa localized thunderstorms na magbibigay ng biglaang buhos ng ulan kadalasan sa hapon at gabi,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

The LPA would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Palawan.

Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. Metro Manila and the rest of the country are also expected to experience similar weather condition.

Meanwhile, the Visayas and Mindanao are expected to experience a fair weather condition except for isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

“Sa Visayas at Mindanao, maganda at maaliwalas na panahon ang inaasahan natin ngayong araw, maliban sa mga isolated na pag-ulan dahil sa localized thunderstorms,” Aurelio said.

The coastal water condition over northern Luzon will be moderate to rough while the rest of the country will experience a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
