PAGASA Says PH To Experience Fair & Hot Friday

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that generally fair and hot weather condition are expected over most parts of the country.

On Friday (March 25, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The intertropical convergence zone will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Southern Mindanao while the Easterlies would affect the rest of the country.

The ITCZ will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over SOCCSKSARGEN and Davao Region with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition due to Easterlies/localized thunderstorms.

The easterlies / localized thunderstorms are expected to bring possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The weather agency said that Luzon and the Visayas will have generally fair and hot weather condition while rain showers are expected over Negros provinces, Panay Island and Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern and central Luzon as well as the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate.

PAGASA also advised the public to limit outdoor activities due to temperatures that may reach up to 34 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila and Tuguegarao, 33 degrees in Laoag, and 32 degrees in Legazpi and Puerto Princesa.
