PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (March 21, 2022)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring scattered rainshowers over some parts of the country.
On Monday (March 21, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting Central and Southern Luzon, as well as Visayas and Mindanao.
The easterlies will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and southern portion of Palawan.
The northeasterly surface windflow will bring similar weather condition over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have the same weather condition.
However, most parts of the country will have fair weather condition. “Inaasahan pa rin natin na maganda at maaliwalas na panahon sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
The weather agency have also warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate.
PAGASA said that there is no weather disturbance spotted within the Philippine Area and Responsibility. “Wala po tayong binabantayan na low pressure area, bagyo sa loob at labas ng Philippine area of responsibility,” Aurelio added.
