PAGASA Says Easterlies to Affect PH Weather Condition

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies will bring cloudy weather condition with isolated rains over some parts of the country,

On Wednesday (March 16, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting the entire country. It would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms with Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The Easterlies/Localized Thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over Mindanao as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

“May inaasahan pa din tayong mga biglaang buhos ng ulan o isolated na pag-ulan dulot ng thundestorms sa buong bansa,” PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Extreme northern Luzon will be moderate. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea condition.

The weather bureau also told the public that the entire county will generally experience hot and humid weather despite the chances of rains.

“Ngayong araw ay mainit at maganda ang panahon sa buong bansa dahil patuloy pa din nakakaapekto ang easterlies,” Aurelio added.

PAGASA said that there are no any weather disturbance inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
