Doc Willie Ong Reveals Side on Pairings of Mayor Isko Moreno w/ other VP Candidates

WILLIE ONG – The cardiologist and vice-presidential candidate admitted he’s hurt over the pairing of Mayor Isko Moreno with other VP bets.

The election campaign period has officially started and the candidates for the upcoming poll have jam-packed schedules for visits to different cities and provinces across the nation. Usually, presidential bets campaign together with their running-mates for vice president and the members of their senate slate.

However, during the visit of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in Maguindanao, the Aksyon Demokratiko standard-bearer was with three (3) members of his senate slate only. Mindanao is known to be the bailiwick of vice presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Mayor Isko Moreno is running with cardiologist Doc Willie Ong in the May 2022 Election. However, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, some groups are supporting Isko-Sara for the upcoming poll.

Doc Willie Ong admitted that he’s hurt by the pairings of Mayor Isko Moreno and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Meanwhile, based on the report, the Aksyon Demokratiko‘s vice-presidential bet stressed that he understands where it is coming from and he can bear it with no complaints.

The cardiologist expressed that he will push through with his vice-presidential bid. According to him, he leaves it in the hands of the people stressing that he has no mistake towards the people and he wants to do things straight. He stressed that he is loyal and he is the one chosen by Mayor Isko to be his running-mate in the upcoming election.

Once Cebu which is the ruling party in the province previously announced that they are supporting the vice presidential bid of Mayor Sara. There are also talks that they are considering to endorse Mayor Isko for president. More updates may be posted soon.
