Jake Vargas Shares the Truth About Tying the Knot w/ Inah de Belen
INAH DE BELEN – Despite enjoying a stable and loving relationship for almost a decade, Jake Vargas revealed why he and Inah de Belen have yet to walk down the aisle.
After nearly a decade of being together, Jake Vargas and Inah de Belen continue to prove that their relationship remains strong and stable despite not being married yet. During his guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on June 2, the Kapuso actor opened up about his long-term relationship with Inah and revealed that marriage is definitely part of their plans.
Jake admitted that he and Inah have already discussed tying the knot, with his longtime girlfriend often bringing up the topic.
“Yes po, napag-uusapan, actually si Inah po ang laging nagtatanong,” said Jake, adding that his usual response is, “Mangyayari.”
Although marriage is something they both want, the actor explained that they do not want to rush into it.
“Paghahandaan kasi, hindi naman dapat minamadali ‘yon. So, kung talagang ready na kami, ‘yun na po talaga ‘yon,” he said.
According to Jake, one of the reasons their relationship has lasted this long is that love and respect have remained constant throughout the years.
“Sa ten years po naming magkasama, siguro po ang masasabi ko, hindi po talaga nawawala ‘yung love.
“Kahit sobrang tagal na naming magkasama, hindi po nawawala ang respeto ko sa family nila,” he shared.
The “Pepito Manaloto” star also described Inah as his source of comfort and peace, saying she makes him feel complete.
“Kasi kung wala siya parang kulang or ‘di ako complete.”
Jake also confirmed that he and the daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada have been living together for five years. According to him, their current arrangement happened naturally as their relationship progressed.
“Parang nangyari na lang po, e. Kumbaga, sa tagal naming magkasama ni Inah, parang inabisuhan din naman siya ng mama niya na, ‘Kaya ninyo na bang mag-live in?’”
Previously, veteran actress Janice de Belen also shared her thoughts on the couple’s live-in setup. She explained that she never opposed their relationship and respected their decisions as a couple.
“I wasn’t against the relationship kasi hindi naman ako ang makakasama nila. Anong karapatan kong maging against?”
“My point at that time was let’s do it right, then okay naman sila,” she added.
While wedding bells have yet to ring, Jake remains confident that their much-awaited walk down the aisle will happen when the time is right.
