This is what Mel Senen Sarmiento, husband-to-be of Kris Aquino, replied to ill wishes about their relationship.
KRIS AQUINO – Mel Senen Sarmiento replies to a basher who said that he and host-actress Kris Aquino will eventually separate in the end.
Former secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Mel Senen Sarmiento is engaged to Kris Aquino. In an Instagram post, they happily announced this and since then became open of their relationship. One great contributing factor that had Kris be happy over her current relationship is the approval of her two sons. This is apart from the fact that Mel, for her, possesses the traits she wanted in a man and more.

Kris is definitely happy over her life now. In a previous article, she shared that her wedding was opposed to what people would think considering her lavish lifestyle and taste. Accordingly, she and Mel decided not to make their wedding grand. It’s going to be ‘tiny’ and ‘super private’ that they will not hire a wedding planner anymore or even have an entourage. The wedding, as per is something that’s totally not what people are expecting.
And just recently, in an Instagram post, a netizen has expressed an ill-wish for her relationship. It said in the comment section that they won’t last long and will eventually break up. Clapping back to the comment in finesse, here’s the reply of Sarmiento (published as is):
“Bawal pala i-mention yung IG name ni pennyswise_not_so_wise. I said in Bimb’s interview, I will spend the rest of my life with her, kaya yung pag hi hiwalay is not going to happen. I love her very much. – Mel S. Sarmiento, her future husband.”
Mel was the DILG secretary under late President Noynoy Aquino’s administration, the brother of Kris. They are actually considering the late president as their matchmaker in heaven because they met and reconnected years after because of him.
