Bongbong Marcos Visits Cebu To Inaugurate Campaign Headquarters

Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos Visits Cebu

BONGBONG MARCOS – The presidential aspirant and former Senator visited Cebu for the inauguration of his campaign headquarters.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) reported that there is a total of 97 presidential aspirants for the Election 2022. The poll body will screen the candidates to determine if there are nuisance candidates for the next election or those who really have no intention to run.

A portion of the presidential aspirants are popular personalities in the field of politics. One of them is Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., a former senator and the son of the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. He is the presidential bet of multiple parties including Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

Marcos Jr. has yet to determine his running-mate in the next election – or if there is none. Recently, he was spotted arriving in the island of Cebu.

Based on a post of Jacque Manabat on Twitter, former Sen. Bongbong Marcos arrived at Mactan-Cebu International Airport. He came to Cebu for the inauguration of his campaign headquarters. He’s also set to lead the oath taking of the members of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

The visit of Marcos Jr. in Cebu is undeniably linked to the visit of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte who also came to the vote-rich island. The presidential daughter who is speculated to be forming a tandem with the former Senator met with her cousin, 5th District Board Member Red Duterte. She came wearing a green hoody jacket stating – “SARA ALL 2022“.

As of this writing, neither between Marcos Jr. and Mayor Inday Sara nor their camps has addressed the speculations that they will be forming a tandem in the next election. The presidential filed her bid for re-election in Davao City but her supporters are urging her to take the presidential race.
