Is it true that Direk Bobet Vidanes said these mean words against Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro?
Veteran showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin stated that It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro received “panlalait” from the Kapamilya noontime show’s former director Bobet Vidanes.
For 11 years, Direk Bobet was the one directing the show. However, now that he transferred to TV5’s Lunch Out Loud, he revealed that he did not feel anymore that he was the leader in the show as he claimed that there were others who wanted to be the leaders.
He also stressed that he transferred not because of money but because of his mental health as he wanted to stay away from the “toxic” environment. However, based on a previous article, the source of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz contradicted the statement of Direk Bobet Vidanes.
Cristy Fermin also slammed the LOL director. In the recent episode of her radio program, based on the article in Bandera, Manay Cristy revealed that people who worked with Direk Bobet in the past were the ones who revealed to her the “panlalait” that the director did against Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro.
“Mayroong text sa akin na ganito ang sinasabi, ‘Nay, sinungaling si Bobet. Lagi niyang sinasabi ang b*b* ni Vhong Navarro. Si Vice naman, basura talaga ang ugali ng bakla. Naririnig ‘yon ng mga cameramen sa headset. Wag siyang magsinungaling,” the veteran showbiz reporter said.
Manay Cristy added that Direk Bobet can’t deny this because people from the production heard him saying that. She also said that she does not believe that the director’s decision to transfer did not involve money.
The veteran showbiz reporter said that the director was already negotiating with TV5 about his transfer while he was still in It’s Showtime. It was also said that the director was boasting to two male hosts the offer that he got from the Kapatid network.
In line with this, Cristy Fermin warned Direk Bobet Vidanes to prepare himself when Vice Ganda returns to the Philippines. The comedian-host is currently in the U.S. for his concert.
“Pagbalik ni Vice, hintayin po natin kung ano naman ang kaniyang saloobin sa pag-iyak na luhang buwaya nitong si Direk Bobet Vidanes. Tignan natin,” Manay Cristy said.
