PAOLO CONTIS – Controversial actor Paolo Contis finally releases an official statement about the issues and here’s what he said to the children.

Currently viral online is the official statement of actor Paolo Contis following the interview of Kapuso actress LJ Reyes where she aired her pain and confirmed their split that is not a mutual decision. The interview has put the actor in the center of the spotlight and was heavily bashed as the actress also hinted that there was a third party involved.

The alleged other woman is Yen Santos and shortly after the interview they were spotted together and there were also videos and photos of them that emerged online. In his statement, he clarified that his leading lady was not the reason for his split with LJ. They were there in Baguio because he called her and she went to be with him “as a friend”.

He also stated in his statement that he is deeply sorry to LJ and he understands the backlash he received from the public after the interview with Boy Abunda. In his post, he addressed the issues one by one such as using something illegal, having a third party, and the issues regarding his leading lady.

He admitted that he is weak when it comes to temptations and is ashamed of his actions. He also admitted that it was Yen who was with him in Manaoag, Pangasinan but denied any romantic connection with her. And as for Baguio, he went there by himself to sort things out within him when Lj and the kids went to the United States.

The actor admitted his insensitivity over the consequences of his actions. He rang up for Yen and she went to him. They were together for a day because he wanted someone he can talk to. He said, “She went there as a friend. Hindi ko naisip na madadamay siya ng ganito.”

And now, as for his kids, Summer and Aki, who got involved in the issue in one way or another, he apologized to them. He wrote to Aki, LJ’s son with Paulo Avelino whom he got closer with when he and the actress were still together, “I’m sorry my Ganda. I love and miss you so much. Papa will do his best to be better. I will always be here for you. I promise.”

For Aki, he wrote this with regrets, “I wish I could’ve done things differently and listened to you more. I’m sorry I failed you.”
