Ai Ai delas Alas Sends a Candid Warning to Gerald Sibayan’s New Wife
AI AI DELAS ALAS – Gerald Sibayan’s new marriage has prompted a candid reaction from his former wife, comedy queen Ai Ai delas Alas.
Ai Ai delas Alas appears to have fully moved on from the remarriage of her former husband, Gerald Sibayan, showing that the situation no longer seems to affect her as deeply as before.
The Comedy Queen was open about discussing Gerald’s current situation after their separation. In fact, Ai Ai jokingly said she was relieved that she was not asked to be one of the godmothers at his wedding, saying she would have felt obligated to give advice to his new wife.
According to the veteran actress, she had no idea that Gerald was getting married again. She said she only learned about the wedding through a friend.
“Wala. Parati naman akong walang idea sa gagawin niya sa akin eh,” Ai Ai shared this on the pilot episode of the new GTV talk show “Kalu11rks”.
When asked about the reaction of her children to Gerald’s remarriage, Ai Ai said they did not seem bothered by the news.
“Kasi, two years na rin naman kami na waley na,” said Ai Ai.
She then continued joking about how things could have been different if Gerald had asked her to be a wedding godmother.
“Pero ang masasabi ko lang talaga, na buti na lang, dito sa pangyayari na ‘to, nag-trend na, buti na lang, hindi niya ako kinuhang ninang.
“Kasi, kapag ninang ka, bawal kang tumanggi. So, kung bawsal kang tumanggi, ako na ‘yung magiging second na magulang nila.
“So, siyempre, kung second na magulang ako, bibigyan ko ng payo ‘yung girl. Sasabihin ko sa kanya, ‘Girl. O, mag-ingat ka. Baka mamaya, magaya ka sa akin.’
“’Malay mo, 10 years from now, 5 years from now, 2 years from now, magiging ang tanging ina ka rin,’” the comedienne chimed in with more juicy details.
Despite everything that happened between them, Ai Ai said she still wishes Gerald well.
“I wish him well. Kasi ‘di ba, ayoko naman nang mag-wish sa tao ng hindi maganda.”
When asked what advice she could offer women when it comes to love and relationships, the actress admitted that giving advice can be difficult because every person has a different fate in life.
“Siguro ang maipapayo ko lang sa kanila du’n sa girls, mahirap kasing magpayo, kasi hindi naman natin alam kung ano-ano ang mga kapalaran natin.
“Magpayo man ako, tapos suwerte ka talaga sa pag-ibig. May suwerte, may hindi. Kasi, naniniwala ako na ang pag-aasawa, suwerte ‘yan,” said Ai Ai.
Her candid remarks reflected both humor and acceptance as she shared her thoughts on love, marriage, and moving forward after a failed relationship.
