Cassy Legaspi talks about her official acting sting in a TV series
Kapuso actress Cassy Legaspi shared that she realized that doing a teleserye is more tiring than what she used to do in showbiz.
Being the daughter of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, Cassy, along with her twin brother Mavy, has been exposed to the world of showbiz at a young age. As a family, they already did several TV advertisements and guesting.
Now that Mavy and Cassy are all grown up, they are doing separate projects. Cassy Legaspi, fortunately, became part of the recently-concluded primetime series First Yaya. Amid the pandemic, the first teleserye taping of the young actress was in a bubble.
After that acting stint, Cassy has more time to rest but she still has guestings to do, based on the artic;e in The Philippine Star. “But other than work, there’s also time for me to rest. Ngayon ko lang na-realize na nakakapagod pala yung taping,” she said. The Kapuso actress also said that being in a lock-in taping for her soap opera was not what she expected.
“I’m not used to teleseryes. With this pandemic, there was a lock-in (taping) for safety precautions. And that was also very new to me. But I was scared coming into the taping, like lock-in, and I really thought of it as, ‘OK, it’s gonna be pure work, I’m not gonna have fun,” she shared.
Cassy Legaspi stressed that she programmed herself to focus on her job but she was surprised that she had fun too. She added that she was not distracted and was able to get on track easily.
With this experience, despite being tiring, Cassy said that she is excited for the next TV series project that will be given to her. She shared that she loves the adrenaline rush that she is feeling while taping. “Kahit pagod ako, I’m happy pa rin. I don’t see it as work or something I dread. I just really enjoy it,” the young actress said.
On the other hand, Cassy said that as of now, there is no upcoming project yet for her team-up with Joaquin Domagoso.
