Ogie Diaz received bashing from fans of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz released a vlog addressing the bashing that he received from the fans of celebrity couple Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson.
Even before Julia and Gerald finally confirmed their relationship, there were already many fans who have been shipping them since they worked together in the movie Between Maybes.
On August 3, Ogie’s Showbiz Update YouTube channel shared a video with the title: “Pa-expire na ang love ni Gerald kay Julia Barretto?” Apparently, fans of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson did not like this and they bashed Ogie Diaz.
“Hindi naman ho namin layunin na pag hiwalayin yung dalawa,” the comedian-talent manager said. Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi said that JuRald fans are accusing the comedian-talent manager of frequently reporting negative things about the celebrity couple.
However, Ogie said that it is not true and in fact, he and Gerald are friends because they were able to work together in several shows.
“So yun nga, lumabas na ho yung pambabash sa akin. Wala hong problema. Ako po’y naiintindhan ko ang mga fans ng JuRald. Nagkataon lang po na nakalimutan ng ating editor na ilagay yung quote nung mga fans na pa expire na. Kaya din yun yung title…” Ogie explained in his vlog on August 8.
Despite the bashings that he received, Ogie said that the important thing is that he is sorry for what happened and they know that they have a basis and that was from a comment.
He added that if the fans of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson will still choose to bash him even after his apology, he said that it is fine with him as long they are happy and at least, he makes them happy.
