Here’s what Cassy Legaspi shared about being bullied at a young age
Young actress Cassy Legaspi revealed that she had her first set of haters when she was just 9 years old.
In this modern era wherein social media is widely used, bullying online became a rampant act of destroying a person’s character. At a young age, Cassy has experienced this.
Based on the article in Bandera, the daughter of Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel shared this on a video with the title Assumptions About Me.
Cassy said that she experienced bullying and received mean comments when she was younger. Before, she would deal with this in a negative way, as well. “I got my first set of haters when I was nine because this was the first time I had my own social media account,” the young actress shared.
She said that at that time, her friends or followers are just her parents and her cousins. “So I have no idea how these bashers found me, but they did,” Cassy Legaspi shared.
Then, as she grew up, she noticed that she would get the same hate comments and worse, there were even those who will have death threats against her.
She said that she is hoping that people will not do this to other people. “Dati affected ako, ngayon I don’t need them. I just focus on my family, my friends, my loved ones, my fans, ’cause those were the only relevant people in my life,” she said.
Cassy Legaspi added that she has learned not to focus on her haters as they don’t know her. She also stressed that one can criticize other people but it is definitely different from hate messages.
